Sold FS: Brahma MKII 12" - $135

I have a D2 MKII. I was going to use this along with another Brahma and get them reconed to 15's, but I decided to change my setup. The subwoofer works, however, one of the tinsel leads is loose. The sub will work if the tinsel lead is in a certain position.

I will take pics tonight when I get home. Asking $135+shipping. I have many refs. I need to sell the rest of my stuff ASAP so I don't get stuck with a high CC bill. Any questions, feel free to ask.

PS: I was emailed Scott at Fi for when I planned to do the recone and he quoted me at $110+shipping per driver, and that would be using original parts. So you may either get the tinsel leads repaired or you can get it reconed for quite cheap to any size you wish.

I have videos showing the tinsel leads in tact by slightly tugging on them. I will upload when I get home since I need to convert to wmv's.

Could the tinsel be fixed by soldering? if I were to do this sub by itself, what box specs would you recommend? Volume/Frequency? Thanks.

The sub still works. I will triple check the coils and take pics of them. One of the tinsel leads is loose because I pulled the driver out and it would not play, but when I pulled one of the tinsel leads, the sub worked fine. It's a 12" Dual 2. I don't have an t/s parameters though.

I don't really know since I have never attempted to repair a sub. As mentioned, one of the tinsel leads is loose. Could be as simple as soldering, but I don't want to say that will solve since I don't have that knowledge and I don't want anyone to get assed out. Attached to this post is enclosure information for a sealed enclosure. I do have a ported design made by IonSQL, which is for a ported enclosure, which I will provide to the buyer at no cost if they are interested.

Nope, just one of them. I'll hook it up tomorrow and verify which one it is so the buyer will be aware. If I can take a vid and upload without it being to large of a file, I will do so.
