Yea your correct. You need aleast 4 3100s and you will be good

Because a lot of these BIG power amps are in competitions and they get beat up from undervoltage or super low impedance. Under normal use these shouldn't break at all.

Yup, thats about right.

Once the amps are cared for within there limits , they last pretty long.

Been using my 7kd's for about 4 years without anyproblems..

also have some modded 7k2d's in competition for around 2 years without any failures..

These amps were not designed for street classes, and some people try to drop them as low as 7-8 volts, which will cause failure.

can stetsom amps be used in daily pounding..??? i have some mmats dhcx2200's i think i got sold, was looking into stetsom.....

want something powerful in small footprint, runs cool and WILL LAST!! LOL (if used correctly of coarse)

Yes this amp can definently be used for daily pounding. I had this amp for 2 years straight on .5ohms daily. This amp also have 3 Fans in it. As long as you mount this amp properly and have good battery voltage this amp will Never fail on you. I also have a Stetsom 7kd modified in perfect working condition.
