Double post. Anyways, the voice coil is fried. However the sub isn't froze. I remember blowing a Kicker and the cone didn't budge at all. This one still moves freely but also no ohm reading from the terminals.

Hmm, how much power did it take to fry it?

I remember when I had one of these playing freeair on my bench with 1800 watts the subs itself would get hot as hell.

I actually got it from a friend. He ran it with a 2nd XXX off the Z1a I had just sold. However, he didn't have the electrical for the Z1a so I'm pretty sure he was clipping the ish out of the pair. The 2nd one blew too but he was lucky to get that one under warranty.
