As you can see the dates match. I joined up this forum after a few days of no interest on that forum, and my brother also helped me out by listing it on forums he is on.

If we do give you the money, you could just walk away with it.
People that are well known here buy frequently on these forums and are very respected, it would be foolish for them to throw away their reputation that they've spent years building. So its very unlikely that they would scam you on a deal, especially since they buy subwoofers and amps that cost thousands.
If you were to sell the unit to a repuable member fitting the description above, it would be understandable to ship first, then receive payment after the item has arrived. Of course you wouldn't do this for a new member with no feedback, because thats a scam waiting to happen.
I've had someone ship a radar detector to me, then I shipped cash to him. This was because he didn't have a paypal account. Transaction went smoothly as he was a newer member and I already had several references.
