for anyone in the sc/nc/va area i have a 92 grand marquis for sale for 750 dollars

Information:

navy blue with blue leather

ac works

power everything but windows won't work (common problem with crown vic, grandmarquis, town car and probally is a easy fix) and drivers seat wont go front to back.

actual mileage is unknown since trip/odo don't work but since the previous owner only really drove it around a small town i would say 150k max

clear cloat peeling off roof and in a "stripe" along drivers side

2 month old custom dual exhaust with flowmaster 40 series and no cats:up2somet:

wanted a 91-96 caprice/roadmaster/fleetwood in the sc/nc/va area

I just need it to run good and have a good ******, interior doesn't matter since i'm going to redo the insides and i know where i can get a donor car for 300 dollars, paint doesn't matter and as long as the hood and and rear quarters are good or least decent its fine with me since again i can get a donor car to get parts from. I'm looking to spend around the 1000 dollar mark.

you can contact me at iceberg_blue86@hotmail.com

the windows are an easy fix if i remember, there is a small gear or a solenoid in there that you replace. i cant remember what it is. Something real small. basically taking the door panl off and fixing at 5 dolla part.

Biggest concerns id have with a car like this would be compression. At 150k my CV was getting about 7-8mpg from weak Valvesprings and scored piston walls. i did beat the piss out of it though for 30k mi

well when i didn't want one i found one for 1500 when i didn't want one, the one for 300 just has a really ****ed up paint job (ie its a dull brown color) it may or may not run. we didn't hear the fuel pump come on and when we tried pouring gas in the the throttle body the engine would "catch" for a second then sput off. i found a 95 roadmaster station wagon for 900 that just needed a waterpump but it was sold before i had the money. I decided to keep the marquis and will build a 6.5 cube ported box @33hz for the 2 CVR's and put that in this week if it quits raining. i might take the gamble and buy the 300 dollar caprice since it has a decent interior and the body is good i could make the money back if it isn't something small like the fuel pump/ filter keeping it from starting or save up for a lt-1 or better yet LS-1 swap.. and speedy ur not in my area.
