Just for the record and notoriety, I got these from a good buddy of mine who taught me most of what I know today since I was 15; DD gave these subs to him back in the day to play around with...

Nathan Munson was one of the guys in the 90s that helped put DD on the map. He's a local shop owner here in town and the guy is NOT FROM THIS PLANET when it comes to SPL.

Here's a couple of shots of his modified civc. He did a 169.8 db with one DD 9510, and a 170.8 db with only one DD9515 and 4 DEI1100ds. This is living proof that its "All in the install."

I'm not sure. I "think" recones from DD may be about $100-110, but I'm not sure...the good subs are still pretty stiff I might add.

I think Nathan said that they might have had 700 watts to 'em. These were just subs that they played around with a few times and that's it...

Just out of curiosity, How much for just the motor on the blown sub? Since DD recones use a new basket the old ones get tossed or scrapped. I just paid 65 each for DD 15010 recones.

That motor if protected and packaged right can fit easy into a large flat rate USPS box.

WOW! I didn't know they were that cheap. Makes me want to keep 'em...

Nah...and you're right. I could take the top assembly off for you and send you just the motor in a flat rate. I still want $80 shipped for it though...
