I can count the minor flaws to this amp on one hand.

So without further ado.......

This is the real deal US Amps...produced in an era when "cheater" amps ruled the competition circuits. These earlier amps are far more under-rated than the current US Amps line-up.

This is not to say that the current US Amps are crap, but manufactures no longer under-rate their amps this drastically because competition rules have changed. Competitors can no longer sneak into a lower class by using a cheater amp...thus, manufactures no longer have a need to under-rate their amps.

At over 2 feet long, one look at the internals and you know that this is no sissy amp. This is a class A/B amp. Unlike class D amps which produce much more distortion (THD) and have lower S/N ratios, these amps are full range, 1 ohm stable, high current, high fidelity amps.

Specs can be found on the US Amps site.

http://www.usamps.com/technical/pdf/wp400_99.pdf

This amp is rated to put out:

2 x 200 watts rms @ 4 ohms

2 x 400 watts rms @ 2 ohms

2 x 600 watts rms @ 1 ohm

1 x 1200 watts rms @ 2 ohm mono.

However with its 45 volt rails @ 48 amps, this amp will put out in excess of 2160 watts rms. With a 225 amp fuse rating, 3 power terminals and 3 ground terminals...whether you looking to build an all-out SPL car or a very loud SQ car (with insane headroom to boot), this is a monster amp.

This amp needs repaired I bought it from Renegadesrun about 2 years ago. I do not know what is wrong with it however I have talked to us amps they said they could repair it for around 100 dollars. Also the rep said there were only 15 of these ever made. Own a peiece of us amps history.

It has a stunning 24 carat gold finish and plexi-glass bottom cover.

I am selling it for 300 plus shipping. Firm. If no one buys it that is fine when I get the money I will get it repaired myself.

If only there were reliable amp repair places. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif
dB-R Electronics... I've had quite a few repaired there myself and have referred at least 10 or so more amps from other people to them. All have went in, been repaired, and came back working properly. I haven't dealt with anyone else as professional or with as quick turn-around time as Chris.

The state of amp repair places is pretty sad... I won't deal with anyone but dB-R after other problems I've had.
