no warranty, got it off ebay. I had a thread about it that got put into the "type R" offical thread, but I'll sum it up by saying it is a good clean sounding sub that does not distort and has the ability to get loud and low.

Don't know anything about the 8500. Maybe someone else will chime in here.

The rms is 500 - 1500.

Raven, if you throw some wattage at that 8500, it will get loud. I wouldnt swap that 8500 for an R yet.
