Those have 4 slots. I think I have 2 256mb sticks that will work. You could go 768mb in one, 512mb in each, or kill the 260 and go with 1gb in the 270.

Its a Acer laptop and It has 1Gb right now but Im pretty sure I can go up to 4gb... So thats what I would like to go for..

It is two years old.. It has Vista Home Premium

It probably DDR2, I only have older DDR SODIMM.

You can pick up 4gb for around $60ish on newegg.

If it's DDR2 for sure, it's probably 533 or 667. The 800 will work, however, you'll never get close to its full potential.

Open it up, the ram should have a label on it.
