I have for sale 2 new Alumapro Alusonic 12" dual 6 ohm voice coil subs.

I got them and I was planning on using them in my 2nd car, but I doubt I will be getting around to that for a LONG time and they will just be taking up space. I do not have the original packaging for either of these. I will let them go individually or as a set. Price is $100 per sub plus shipping OBO.

WTF?! What are you talking about? Alumapro is on the most highly regarded sub manufacturers around, and if you think these compare to Pyle you are horribly uneducated. Do some research.

These would compare to something more like Image Dynamics IDQ or ID line. Alumapro is know for their SQ and these are no exception.

Dont worry I know the kind of quality they are, just curious what they would compare to, thanks for the response! Good luck on the sale..

DIAF? Seriously dude. That looks like a Pyle Blue Wave, and they are dual 6. Rofl weird impendances FTW? I have seen some upper-end Alumapro's in some show vehicles and they sounded allright. But please take back what you said, many people havent even heard of Alumapro, ever.
I know a lot of peopl havent hear of Alumapro, and that is why they shouldnt just go ahead and compare them to Pyle. Alumapro makes high quality products. They are SQ speakers. If someone doesnt know what they sound like, they shouldnt compare them to a much lower end product. Period. Especially not in somebody else's For Sale thread.

Why would anyone buy these if they thought they were junk. They definately are not. I see you use the RSD subs. Would you want them compared to Pyle if you were selling them? Would you compare your Rainbow to Pyle?

And as far as the weird impedances, I agree that they are weird, but just look at JL, one of the most popular sub makers around here. They have lots of 3 ohm subs. Dual 6 wired right = 3 ohm.

Alumapro is a MUCH MUCH better sub than Pyle. I have heard them numerous times, multiple types and multiple installs. Alumapro is a high-end company, just as the OP said, in the ranks of ID. They're NOT monster basshead subs by any means, they are more SQ-oriented stuff.

Don't try to give them 1kw each, just a coupla hundred watts and you'll have decent output with great sound. Shoot mainly for sealed boxes, I believe. These would be great for someone's second vehicle.... maybe the sedan or minivan that the wife totes the kids around in, etc. Good for a nice, smooth low-end, but not for rap-addicted bassheads. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Good luck with the sale, man!

Some of the more patently ridiculous things I've ever heard.

Why do people feel the need to spout off about stuff they've never heard of?

Alumapro makes a very respectable sub. It's a niche sub, and like the others, that HAVE actually heard them, said, they are pure SQ. Not loud, but rich, detailed, and very smooth. If you like your bass to be a part of the music, then these are great subs, if you like your bass to BE the music, these are not for you.
