got these built with the intent to use them. Everything went wrong and I am with out a car and need cash to get something decent.

They are 15"

konaki motors

dual 1 ohm

high roll surround

carbon fiber cone and cap

flat wind coils

3" coil

300 oz motor

built by woofercooker

over 50 pounds each

That is all i know. If you need more info I will try to find it out.

one has some glue or something on the boot and on the same one the basket has some black stuff on it.

Why? I would add some cash. But not a bunch or anything. Mine are practically brand new and have been broken in correctly.

how so? Im pretty sure the person that did the recone job knows the parameters of his own soft parts and what it is capable of

yea when you make a custom sub and put an rms on it why wouldnt you make it the maximum amount it can handle daily?

1500 rms but can take more just sounds dumb to me

The sub is 1500 rms from factory. With the new parts that were put on it can take a bit more. Hope that clears it up.

I think it'd be a much better idea to rate it conservatively than over rate it and the buyer blows it assuming it can handle that much and then comes back after the seller.

Much easier to just rate it conservatively and let the buyer push it to the limit on his own terms. Not at the risk of the seller.
