Indeed it does. I fed it 4kW for a small period of time(2 minutes) with a 26Hz tuned port and it sounded excellent, without getting smelly or warm at all. I like it, but I'm looking at other options. Nice sub!! MY personal best with one of these 15"s in a "stock" setup is 153.6 DB's. The basket on mine is a lil different though.
