I had it in a 3.35ft^3 box with a 7"x7", 20" 34hz square port on the side custom designed to fit against the back wall behind the seat in my truck. There may have been some issues with the air flow which was limiting the subwoofer's potential in the enclosure.

Highly doubt that there is anything wrong with the woofer itself.

Whats the power handling on one of these? I have an MTX 7801 (rated 1825W RMS @ 1 ohm) i wonder if they'd be a good pair?

How would the Q sound sealed, isn't that what they're for? I heard the BTLs are more for ported applications... if I did get it I would probably go sealed.
