This is a 15' DMX Stage 2 prototype. Bought from snoopdann a few days ago. Reality has set in with me that im never gonna be able to power this thing. So that has forced me to sell it. Looking for $350 shipped obo. Open to trades. http://www.caraudio.com/forum/showthread.php?t=204674 Theres pics. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crying.gif.ec0ebefe590df0251476573bc49e46d8.gif

snoop said he had 2 500' watt bazooka amps on it and it did a 145.xx he showed me pics of it. So i mean it wont take much plus this thing likes small ported enclosures.

he only had about 1000rms to it?

how would this thing preform on say, double pedals and stuff like that. more spl or sql oriented?

dimensions on the box too.

I'll help you with a little history on this sub, it was aquired from a trade with some people close to Massive about 2 years ago - it is the first prototype for the DMX line, hence why it has an entirely different dustcap then on every other DMX in existance. So the coil in it is a quad 1 ohm, and is probably THE toughest sub ive ever owned (and im sure you all know ive owned hundreds). I ran an entire year using this sub, had ZERO problems....got prob 20 trophies during its use and a couple of Deathmatch titles. While the sub has been used alot, it is still in perfect working order when I sold it. If you go onto the Massive Audio website and look under Team Massive, you'll see a bunch of pictures of this EXACT sub in my Jeep. This is also the sub that is pictured in the animated gif below, doing a 10hz test with about 150 watts on my test bench. So clearly you CAN get it moving on little power, but to take full advantage of such a mean sub you'll need a large amp. Each coil on this can easily take 1500 watts, so dont be shy giving it a ton of power - it can take it. If you've ever had problems blowing subs, you shouldnt ever with this one, lol. .... But if you ever did, all you have to do is contact Massive and they'll sell you a recone fairly cheap and it takes about 5 minutes to recone a DMX (no glue recone kit) so anyone can do it. Imi posting these pictures of it to help Whiteice out, he's a good guy who just bought tooooo big of a sub for his needs at the moment. But if someone is interested in SPL competition, this is a great sub to start with...and finish with too for that matter.

It was also featured in this promotional video for Massive : http://video.snoopdan.com/dmx15.3.wmv

Hope this helps you out sell it....twas a good sub for me!

maybe you can help me out alittle more then, because i would be interested in this sub pending box and your experience with it.

it does well in small ported boxes correct? i have about 3.5-4 cubes available, would it work?

also how does it do on music? chances are that i listen to more rock than rap, so with your experience, do you think it would be able to keep up?

also max i think id be able to put on the sub is about 2000rms @1 ohm, think it would get this thing moving?

I have one also...........dont listen to snoopdan he got rid of it:D

Mine is in a 4 cube box tuned to 35 hz (70 squares) and it a great daily driver and for rock would ROCK.I puttin 3000 on it and it fine and loves it.

It was louder then most all setups at are local meet vs other 15s and dual 12" setups. And the box is really all wrong for my trunk and it still rocked.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif

yes....The infamous Massive DMX subs....These subs can get extremely loud! I had the 12" version and it just gets crazy inside the car....You just have to know what to do with it and you'll go deaf....lol
