Frustrated, want to rip everything out and start over..

Right now I have (1) 18" MT and (2) jbl1200.1's, and it just isn't doing it for me anymore. I feel like no matter what I do, how many different boxes I build, I cannot get anymore noticably louder with just 1 sub. My amp blew fuses tonight, one part on the box I have it in right now is flexing/ratteling. I am at the point where I just want to rip it all out and start from scratch. I want to quit beating around the bush and just build something insane.

I am sick of having 2 amps and I want just 1 huge one because it will be a lot easier to deal with. 1 sub does not seem to be working out for me, and I feel like I need to buy at least 2 or more to have a loud street beater like I want. I know you can get loud with one sub, but its not working out for me or so it seems. I am thinking of something like 4 15" l7s in a wall maybe. I just want a loud daily beater, maybe bass racer. Sorry for ranting but I had to let it out. I am tired of setups getting old and always having to spend money. What kinda car? What are the specs on your box?

I am not saying it is not loud. Most people can't sit in my car for more then a few seconds. It is just I am used to it now and want more, maybe I am insane I dont know. Car is Isuzu Rodeo, box is 8 cubes tuned to the lower 30's.

In my personal opinion, in order to get loud, (yes u can gel loud with 1 sub, but it has it's limits) you need more subs.

More subs = More surface area moving = more air moving = louder.

If you have room, get 4 - 6 18" subs, make sure you have lots of power, and amperage to supply the amps. A Huge ported box, tuned to your likeing, and you would have a winning loud wall.

Thats if you have the money.
