From SS RL-p to DD 2500a ?

that 2500a looks pretty sexy not as sexy as the rl-p but it has the shut up and listen to me kinda look.

i know that dd is known for thier spl, but just like the solo X, its mainly been used in spl comps, never sq. but from a few credible sources, ive heard that DD has amazing sq. my box is 1.5 tuned to 32 hz (iirc) and wanna try something new, maybe an upgrade

I like the looks of em thats for sure. And the new higher excursion basket doesnt hurt either. It looks like a solid performer.

I dont know if its quite an upgrade from a rlp tho.

Umm I dont think its an upgrade, but I dont have personal experience with that line from DD. The hype and the price that come with DD turn me off big time.

2500's sound really good imho. People are amazed at my friends single 12 sounding better than some thugs 2 L7's. (Install had alot to do with it, but its funny when he get louder)

I don't think it will be a step up unless you move to the 3500 series. I had both the rl-p and dd3512.

Some hype is well founded, I dont feel DD is as good as the sheer amount of hype behind it says. I feel the same way about a few other companies.
