Sorry I don't mean to hijack this thread but I couldn't figure out how to post my own thread.. So I have a 1996 Pontiac Grand am with a Din and a half (So out dated) I recently purchased a JL W3 12', a ported box, a kenwood KCD 255U, a Rocksford r500x1, and I think there are a couple things I still need. My install guy told me that he didn't need the wiring harness and that the antenna adapter was optional. If I wanted an antenna adapter, would any GM adapter work? Why would I want one? If I were to get a dash kit, are they all standard size? Would a single din dash kit fit with the single den head unit (I don't think so, that sounds like a double din).. If not, is a half din equalizer a better option or is all of that taken care of on the Rocksford Amp? Could I get a dash kit with cup holders? Do I have any other options?
