This is an easy one. I have two RE SE D2's. My JBL 1200.1 blew up on me. I bought a Phoenix Gold Tantrum 1200.1 that does 1486 watts on the birthsheet. I am now pissed off why I never blew up the JBL amp a long time ago. Its a tie on which was the best upgrade. Going from TC Sounds TC1000's to RE SE's or going from the JBL to the Tantrum. Excellent upgrade The Tantrum is an excellent choice for the RE SE's. I threw the PG amp on one of my RE SE's and it screamed. 1200 x 1 @ 2 ohms 1200 x 1 @ 4 ohms
