four 12" L7 Vs. four 12" Type R Vs. two 15" Mojo

What would be the most competitive while still sounding decently good. All would be running off of one ZX2500.1 eventually two amps for comps running @ 1 ohm instead of the 2 ohms for daily. I'm using 2 batteries, normal kind under hood and kinetic HC2400 by amps and I'm competing engine off so Alt. doesn't really matter yet. 1/0 gauge wiring and "Big 3".

for me the price doesn't matter too much but I'm not a rich person by any means.

The 4 type Rs are $480, the 4 L7's are $880, and the 2 Mojo's are $800. I'm kinda leaning towards the Mojo's just because I've never owned anything other than a 12" in a Car audio.

I would like to be able to hit 150 with this setup. Its going into my explorer BTW and I know how to build a box.

I don't get to here too many systems where I live and Ive only heard one Type R and it was a 10" in a reg cab ranger, it was loud but the only L7 system I heard was one 12" in the trunk of a Cavalier, also loud. My current Ti own them both but I can't exactly afford 3 more of these suckers.

the power acoustiks are Mofo's, not Mojo's.

4 12" Rs should break 150 fairly easy. it's been done before. and just look at the price difference.

but, then again. if you don't mind the price, id definitely go with the Mojos. they are efficient enough to be loud on one ZX2500.1, but when you get a ZX2500.1 on each it would be nuts.

Yea two 15" Mojo's will have to do, only one zx2500.1 for now but when I can afford the second, nuts. I would probably even have to try one zx2500.1 on each voice coil, mmmm single 15" Mojo 5000w rms burps. Shit one 15" and one Battery would only be street B with "5000w". Voltage would drop a bit though I imagine.

my opinion would be to go with the type r 12s just cause theyre so cheap..

but i think the 4 L7s would have potential to get the loudest.. mostly because of the cone area

With the 4 Type R's I wouldn't be saving enough to buy another ZX2500.1, these suckers are running me like $850 plus shipping into Canada plus duty and taxes. This is an expensive amp for me, if I went to a kicker dealer around here probably $2000 but I would have warranty, those bastards love ripping me off. I know a 100.2 was like almost $300 in the store, I picked up a 250.2 for $100 off the internet.

Anyways, my mojo's are on the way. Got another Battery coming and a roll of 0 gauge wire, should be a good summer.
