Thought I would sign up here to see how this Forum is. I am currently a member of the "Orioncaraudio", "Elitecaracudio", and "DIYmobileaudio" forums. I have been into car audio since 91 and haven't been able shake the habit. You can see my car and it's last install here:

im sorry you are going with directed, er... i mean, orion equipment. unless you are sponsored or getting it all for just about free, i would look elsewhere.

DEI has gone way down hill in the last few years in my book. the pioneer stuff should be cool, i would remove the audiocontrol crossovers\eq\bass cube and replace with an alpine H701 or get the pioneer combo. much much easier to control than all the analog knobs and dials.

but thats just me.

otherwise. you should be spending lots of money.

DEI is indeed not the old Orion stuff but I needed this many amps for my 5.1 DTS install. So I sold my old stuff and got the list of amps that you see now. EVERYTHING but the "*" item is in my posession. I have only $1700 into the six amps vs. the $4,400 MSRP so I am fairing OK price wise. The AudioControl stuff that I am using is only got "dials" for input and output gain. With the exception of the bass volume knobs for the 6XS's. The pictures that I posted was my old setup and eveything but the '99 Orion HCCA component speakers and Pioneer equipment has been sold. Yes the EQT's were a PIA to dial in.

IDK afaid to total it up. My poor little 1.9 gonna be like "OMG" the first time it tries to move all that down the road I am sure.

I'll keep my eyes open, I frequent the 'bay all the time. I do have an old pair of 8" Nakamichis. They are SP-80's
