Found Out Why Rattling!

i found out why my trunk was going when i looked at my trunk shut i noticed that one side of my trunk barley shuts....(i have a honda civic 2001) one side of my trunk shuts all the way where the other side is kinda open...not to the point where the light turns on...and when i cranked my bass up that part of the trunk when NUTSS...i got so **** happy ...then i was like CRAP!! how do i get it too shut all the way..lol i tried tying a brick to it on a string ...NO didnt work lol.....has there been neone with this problem who knows how to fix it...remember its not like OPEN its jus a lil up to one side and wont shut to a certain point...MY LUCK!...ne suggestions after all....i shut the the one side of my trunk wit my hand and my trunk barley rattles AHHHHH any suggestions lol?

get it serviced ASAP, looks like a hinge or bent bootcover.

Yeah, sounds like it could be a bent hinge, or at least not lined up with the other one.

take the stereo out and hide the wires if you do take it in. they might not service it with the stereo equipment in, and blame it on that. which probably is the problem.
