Thanks for the information. I've been looking for information on the web for several days for these subs and could not find any information on them until I found this post today, what a coincidence. I input the serial number in several days ago and nothing came up. I did not know the name (RT 108) and they are so old, I was about to give up hope. I took them out of their speaker box and found the serial number but there were no markings for the ohm's.
I used these MTX woofers as a replacement for the woofers in my smaller advent loudspeakers back in 1988 or 1989 and they have been great. I don't listen to music much at home like I used to. I am going to use these two speakers as my left and right speakers for my home theater. I am adding a cerwin vega 5C center speaker and a 10 inch Klipsch subwoofer as well as a new Pioneer KSX 1021-K AV receiver.
