The suspension is a little soft too. Amazingly I never bottomed the thing out! The sub was actually seeing both amps @ 0.5 ohm each (1 ohm strapped), so who knows how much power I gave it!

Mach5 SPLs definately need to get more respect, everything i've heard about them so far has been positive.

Yeah, I can see out of it pretty good now. I think she was driving a Chrysler Sebring. Her car was much more messed up than my truck, I'm guessing because I have a solid frame and she doesn't.

Mach5 SPLs definately need to get more respect, everything i've heard about them so far has been positive.

They're good subs, especially for the price point. I can't complain since it took a ton of power, and did a 149 at the headrest. Hell, it probably wasn't too far off from a 150 on the dash (door open of course). I know it was breaking 150's in the kick, all at 45 hz.

I don't know yet. We are going to be working on all of the legal stuff as time goes on. I won't be getting the police report until Friday. I'm really going to be upset if I can't get my equipment paid for. I worked hard to get that equipment and to get all that work and score out of my truck. As you can tell from the truck that I drive, I really don't make a lot of money. I make just enough to pay for my college education and to compete in car audio.

That's one of my biggest fears, that I'll sink thousands of dollars into my car and it

all get ether jacked or destroyed. I heard that in order for the insurance company to

honor the refund for CA equipment it has to be attached to the car. But i hope it all

works out for you and I'll keep my eyes open to see if you get your sh** replaced.

Hopefully that's not true for me. We took everything out in fear of a possible short circuit. I have wires buried in places that I couldn't see, and I wanted to make sure that I wouldn't have to worry about a fire.

Your nose looks BEAT though man, great news that your alright, Ive eaten a steering wheel before and put my head into the windshield, and I got a 5k settlement, and I only had some bruises and a 'sore" neck lol, even thought he paramedics said if I wasnt wearing my hard hat (just got off work) my head woulda been FULL of glass

Lakota (Ben Hemp), whom is a good friend of mine (and a great MECA competitor) was in a head on collision last night just after him and I were hanging out. A drunk driver apparently went across into his lane and hit him head on totaling his truck (which doubles as his SPL vehicle). He called me earlier from the hospital, he's got a broken nose and an eye that's swolen shut and some other bruises. But mostly alive.
Just wanted to post this so everyone know's whats up with Ben.

I dont know him, but i will get to know him.

Glad to see that he is okay.
