Single Drivers (1)

Adire Extremis 7" woofer
Used for about half a year. 8ohm version. 100% working condition. This is the spare I have left over after FedEx broke the other. I was never able to find a friend for it. It can be used as a replacement for your own set or possibly used in a small subwoofer setup.

Price: $60

Driver Pairs (2)

Dayton RS52 2" midranges
I bought these new from PartsExpress. I was contemplating using these for my 3-way but decided to use the TG9s instead. These are new-in-box and never powered.

Price: $60

Amplifiers

Phoenix Gold Xenon X400.1 mono amp
This amp does 400w rms into 1 through 4 ohms. It is used but in mint condition with zero scratches, dents, scuffs, or anything. It's pretty much as new as new could be. It's a great amp and has powered I think every sub I've used at one point or another.

Price: $120

Subwoofer Enclosures

Sealed 1.5 cu.ft. single 12" enclosure
This was the first sub box I built. It's made from 3/4" MDF, simple, well constructed using lots of wood screws and lots of glue. A bead of silicon is along every internal seam to ensure an air tight enclosure. It is wired for DVC with two pairs of + and - wires inside. It uses a cup style, spring clip wire terminal for wire hookup.

Box Dimentions are: 36.5" x 12.5" x 8.5"

Price: $20

Ported 2.6 cu.ft. @ 26Hz single 12" enclosure
This is the first ported box I built. I follow the same mantra, 3/4" MDF, lots of screws, lots of glue for a solid box. Again, there is a bead of silicon on every internal seam to ensure an air tight enclosure. The box is carpeted in gray and uses the popular wire-through-box wiring method. Again, this one is wired for DVC with two pairs of + and - wires inside.

Box dimensions are: 36.5" x 18" x 10.5"

Port area is: 18 sq.in.

Price: $40

Shipping

All prices do not include shipping.

Shipping will generally cost between $10 and $20 for small to medium items. Large items like the enclosures will run around $35 to $40.

I will ship international and pricing seems to average around $20-$25 for Canada and $45-$50 for Europe/Asia

I can get a specific shipping estimate if you like.

I am also open to using any carrier you prefer, but I do find FedEx to almost always be the cheapest within the US and USPS for overseas shipments. FedEx will be Ground and USPS will be Express mail (has tracking).

I am always happy to do pick-up if you're a local souther Minnesota resident. This will be much easier for the enclosures
Sale

Please, serious inquiries only. If you want it, buy it. Interest is only interest. I have had several "interests" in every single thing listed here, and as you can see, it's all still for sale, lol.

The first one who pays gets the item. This is the difference between interest and a desire to own.

I will not negotiate price. It is as listed.

Well, you're 3rd in line and it's about 99% sold.

I've already had and turned down many $120 shipped offers already. If the price is negotiable, I say it.

The Peerless XLS 8" woofer is sold.

The PG Xenon X400.1 amp is 99.99% sold.

Everything else is still up for grabs.

Side note on the Extremis woofer. It's not a bad choice if you're thinking of a small subwoofer setup.

Using published specs:

Vas: 33.2 L

Qts: 0.332

Fs: 30 Hz

"Ideal" is a 0.60 ported box tuned to 37Hz. The little woofer will get you down to 40Hz before dropping off. Output is pretty good as well at 107dB at 1m since it's a compact, ported design and a woofer with a good bit of thermal and excursion capability. It takes a little over 150 watts to exceed xmax.

Using npdang's test results:

Vas: 21.7 L

Qts: 0.434

Fs: 35 Hz

"Ideal is 1.0 cu.ft. ported tuned to 33Hz. It will get down to 32Hz before dropping off. Output is 105dB range. It still takes 125 watts to reach excursion limits.

Using Zaph's test results:

Vas: 19.9 L

Qts: 0.482

Fs: 37 Hz

"Ideal is 1.3 cu.ft. ported tuned to 31 Hz. It will get down to 29Hz before dropping off. 100 watts just hits 12mm of excursion. Output is 104dB.

Odd how different the specs are, but it's pretty easy to see the published stuff is a good deal off. Npdang and Zaph are halfway comparable. Good might be something like 1 cu.ft. tuned to 32Hz. The woofer will give solid output down to about 30Hz. Overall output is limited but still decent, even for non-heavy car use. It's definately nice for a small home audio or PC setup. Now I kind of want to try it. I'll let this one go, but I might resurrect the busted woofer with a little improvisation and toy with it in an enclosure.
