Do you use the remote gain control or do you keep it disconnected? when the remote gain is at the maximum setting does it represent the level input setting on the amp? If you set your gains right you shouldn't need the remote. The HU can control all your bass needs. Me, I don't use the remote. Never even really took the remote out of the bag.

Cool, I really dont care for them either. My HU has more than enough sub controls (pioneer dehp 930) .

Man this amp is the shit. The sound is so much cleaner then my old amp. It puts out the perfect power at 2 ohms for my infinities and It will be great with 1 ohm when I power my 15A with it.

Well, I am really not sure. But that is why I got the 1800T just so I could keep my options open without having to worry about getting another amp. I had 2 15A's running off my 1800, and it wanged, to say the least...sold one, have one 15A in about 3 cubes tuned to 32 hz with 900 watts from the 1800 and it still wangs...

95 Pathfinder, never got around to metering the A's though...had the 2 first in about 6.4 cubes tuned at 29 hz, then dropped it to 5.9 tuned to 31, then the single in 3 tuned to 32...

Port area was at around 80 in with first box, dropped to 70 with second, and now at around 40 in with the single...

When I pushed them hard, it was tough to sit in my car...

It will be going into a 98 S-10 ext cab. I think I will put it in the 2.2cube tuned @ 30 at first just to test it out and then go from there b4 I build a perm one. I have already got 120 sq ft of edead also. Who knows I might decide to start the comps, although my truck really sucks up the DB's
