For those of us who like "New Metal"

Absolutely, AILD is still one of my favorite bands. Confined is one of the very first really "metal" songs I fell in love with. I still listen to them at least once a day....this is considering i listen to music at least 4-5 hours a day while i'm doing other things.

Yeah, I hear that. confined is a great song. I think Through Struggle is my favorite of their songs.

Trivium is another band I like a lot too. They're pretty technical but get sloppy live. Not a huge fan of their newest cd though.

What makes them look like dueschers? And why does it have to be Christian Metal that sux? There is plenty of metal bands that are just as brutal if not more brutal than most that aren't.

BTW, there are times (minus the vocals) that sound like Protest the Hero (mainly the guitar soloing).

look up avantasia, they have a weird iron maiden sound with some crazy arpegio sweeps; but ya by far my fav "metal" band is lamb of god. the drummer is redicioulous

do you know what nu metal is?? between the buried and me is not nu metal....they are a more progressive death band, nu metal is shit like korn and limp biskit disturbed.
