Ok, I didnt read anything in this thread. Im just replying to the original post here.
I got together with my wife when I was 19. She was 17. She spit the usual marriage bullshit at me just like all young girls do. I told her that If we were still with each other when she turned 25 (yea 7 years! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif ) that I would marry her. I told her I need to see if it would really last before I actually said "I do".
Long story short...
We got married Sep 09, of 2007. When the "when are we going to get married" pressure was gone from my relationship, it was easy! We knew what was coming. We knew that if we were together that long... wtf? We were commonlaw married by then anyway.
Nothing changed when we said "I do". It had already been 7 years. She had already gotten fat like most chicks do when they get married, so I didnt have to deal with that soon after getting married either. =]
