Hey all, me and my girl just bought a new car for her, and this amp was just sitting in the trunk, not hooked up. So i cant tell you if it works or it dont. I know its a solid amp, and a steal if it works, or can be fixed if it doesnt. I cant gaurentee it works, as i have no way to test it out. Ill get some pics later, but its in a little rough shape. 100 bucks + shipping. Let me know.

why dont you test it instead of trying to pwn off stuff that might make you look bad , genious //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/graduate.gif.d982460be9f153bb54e5d4cb744f6ae8.gif

Did you call mtx before you bought it.. I just got off the phone with them and they told me a mtx 81000d couldn't be repaired only the mtx 1501d, why is that.. I thought they were the same board? or maybe the guy i talked to was an idiot.. he didn't sound very intelligent... anyways good luck on your purchase.

haha

Just a lil update on this badboy.

I have had a few interests, but nothing rock solid. I was hoping to do the deal with poundindak69, but i really havent heard much from him.

It turns on. No speaker output. I took the case off, noticed that the RCA jacks on the inside are corroded/burned. Hooked it up today, diddnt get any sound. But it does turn on. MTX said it was around 95 bucks to fix that problem. Mod it, itll do 2000+ @ 1 ohm all day long for ya!

your full of crap man. I talked to mtx like a month ago and they no longer fix the 81000d or the 1501 d amps period! They have no more parts aval. They will not even give you an RA number to send it to them. They have not been able to fix these amps since the beginning on 2007! if you plan to buy one, remember these words, buy at your own risk. If you plan to fix it yourself at a local repair place, it'll cost you about $350 bucks in parts.

Hey... its a pretty good deal dead or working. If it does happen to be dead, MTX will replace the board for 95 bucks. So for 200... you got a new 81000D. Helluva deal if you ask me.
so u already called/email.etc them to see if they could fix the board before u admitted to selling it doa even if it did or didnt work?

makes no sense..seems like u already knew it was broken..

Post some pics - external and board (burn spots, etc). If it looks good, I'll take it for $100 shipped. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif
