Yup - a few Kenwood items I need gone if anyone is interested:
First up is my just-retired Kenwood eXcelon KDC-X679 HU. I just upgraded to the 25th Anniversary deck and no longer need the 679. It was purchased new from Crutchfield in April of '04 so in light of the eXcelon decks carrying a 2yr warranty rather than the standard 1yr coverage on the 'regular' Kenwood units this one is still covered by valid factory warranty until late April 2006.
It's been cared for very well, never needed servicing, and is absolutely 100% operational. Cosmetics I would rate a 9.5/10. I cannot find any flaws myself but a deck that has been being used for almost 2 years likely has some flaw that a nitpicker will find....but I couldn't.
Everything it came with new will be sent to any buyer. This will include the deck itself, the faceplate, the plastic trim ring, the faceplate case, all documentation/manuals/"Car Audio Passport" card/etc etc, the remote, the original box, and an unused Kenwood HU wiring harness.
Asking price will start at $180/shipped. I am aware that these are available cheaper on eBay. No guarantee against refurbs there, though....and this one is still covered by a few months of factory warranty.
Next I have a KAC-606 2ch amplifier. It has been benched by me and works as it should. RMS output @ 14.4vdc as follows:
50w X 2 channels @ 4 Ohms stereo
75w X 2 channels @ 2 Ohms stereo
150w X 1 channel @ 4 Ohm mono
$55/shipped
Last I've got a KAC-846 4ch amplifier. Like its little brother shown above this unit has been benched by me and works as it should. The only issue with this unit is the original gold-colored screw with its associated flat, squarish washer on the negative power input terminal is MIA and has been replaced with an obvious non-original type bolt. This affects functionality none at all - but in the interest of honesty I want to point it out. RMS output @ 14.4vdc as follows (more or less the same as the 606 with double the outputs):
50w X 4 channels @ 4 Ohm stereo
75w X 4 channels @ 2 Ohm stereo
150w X 2 channels @ 4 Ohm mono
$115/shipped
