I just recently picked up a set of CDT HD 6.75" components for a fairly good price. I got them cheap because the center caps were pushed in. Once they came, I quickly tried to fix the dents. In the back of the speaker there is a venting hole that goes all the way through the speaker so I lightly pushed a pen through it, pushing the center caps back out. They look much better now, but not perfect. EITHER WAY (pushed in or not), they sound exactly the same. Plus, these will most likely be mounted behind a door where they are not visable anyhow. Also, I've been suggested to use tape to pull the rest of the little dents out, but I'd rather not even try in case the tape messes up the cones. YOU could try this method though, many people have done it and had great success with it. Other than the center caps, there are no other flaws with this system. The seller tested them and they work perfectly. I will also test them as well prior to shipping out. Included in the price is (2) mids, (2) Tweeters, (2) crossovers, (2) grilles and all the mounting rings. I am asking $175 shipped and insured Now for pics:
