Sold FOR SALE: Adire Audio BRAHMA 15" mkII

Right now, the sub is blown due to it being in a box that was to small for the amount of power it was getting. I live about 10 min away from adire, so re cones are easy when they are in stock. I will sell it with ot without the recone depending on what you want. With the recone It will be $360 shipped, without the recone $245 shipped. If you dont already know, the recone will make this basicly a new sub, the only thing that satys the same are the magnet and basket, and those things did not get damaged at all and are like new. how big was the box before? and how much power did you give it? As soon as I sell my 15" treo SS around town im looking into getting a dual 12" setup since its a trunk setup and i never seem to get insanely loud as I want with a single sub setup but I might consider a supersub such as a brahma/xxx/ etc... but either way I wouldnt be able to buy for a bit, but just curious about the setup you had.

900 watts off an arc amp in 2.1 cubes and 34hz. A good box would have been about 3.1 cubes and 28hz.

Hey. I still have the arc 1000.2t and it is for sale. I loved it. I also have had a zapco ref 1000 among other higher end amps and I can honestly say, to my ears, the arc sounded the best. The zapco did a little more power maybe, but the arc stayed cold always and i never had any problems with it for the few weeks I used it. I really liked it. I have a bunch of stuff for sale such as:

arc audio kar 400.4

focal 130ca's 5.25 coax

pioneer 9300

I would give it a 9. its not the most amazing amp ever made, and i cant think of anything bad about it, but im sure there are better things out there and higher end arc audio. This amp meet, and past my expectations. I think if you have the money, this is the perfect amp for a brahma. people who run over 1200 to them are crazy, brahma's can sound awsome and reach xmax with 300 watts, they are not power hugry at all (like the xxx). 900-1000 watts is a good range imo for in car use and the cleaner the power the better, and it does not get much better in tearms of clean power then an arc like this, which like i said, sounds better then the zapco ref 1000 to me. I got it from a higher end wholesaler up in new york who did not know what this was really....not many people know about arc. I paid about $500, a little more i think, for it new in box with warranty.

how much you asking on the focals?

85 shipped a pair or 150 for 4. they are fairly new and come with the boxes and grills. I used em for about 3 weeks with 50 watts off the arc 4ch, never pushed hard and never got any distortion.

So it sounded better than the zapco huh.....didnt heat up at all either?and u got great bass from this amp as well?Need to ask these questions as i havent ever seen/heard this series.where r u located?oh and what did u mean by its not the most amazing amp ever made...is there anything u disliked?

hey, im in seattle wa. I have some pictures from when it was installed a few days ago so send me your e-mail if you want to see them. Arc says its there lowest end amp, and that might be true, but the last thing I would call this amp is lowend lol. Ive heard its bassed off an old clarion desgin from the mid 90's and arc bought the design and put in there own 1% transistors or somthing like that and bada bing you get this.
