I used to have the Batcaps 1/2" away of my Big amp as distribution block and because the fast discharge capacity... I'll go with a bigger batcap under the hood.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think these act like a "super cap" with help keeping the voltage up. I have a customer currently running a single one of these on his 4k2d along with two yellow tops on a 4k2d and he's holding voltage up 13.2 full tilt based on his test and getting over 3000w. So I'd say a single one would work good on a 2k5d.
