So I am putting up for sale my old tc-2000 15" SINGLE 4 OHM subwoofer. Everything is perfect on the sub except for a tear in the cone. It was covered under warranty however TC-sounds liquidated before I had a chance to get a new top assembly from them to fix the problem. I'm not sure what would need to be done to get in in perfect order again because like I said the only thing wrong with it is a tear in the cone near the surround (which you can see pictured below) and its just sitting in my room right now not doing anything so I figure I'd see if you guys could do something. I'm starting it at 150 plus shipping.

**EDIT: THIS IS NOT A DUAL 2 OHM SUBWOOFER. THIS IS A SINGLE 4 OHM.

As for the AA Arsenal 15" D4 subwoofer, I'm just putting it on here along with the tc-2000 to see if there is any interest. It's perfect cosmetically and mechanically but I'm more than likely selling it to my neighbor for $100 to get him started on a sound system. So if anyone is really interested PM me for some pictures (I still have to take them) and we can possibly work something out.

Thanks a lot and good luck!

I noticed you said the TC was a D2 but I only see one set of terminals. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

my bad, its been edited to show. I just remembered it at 4 ohm, coulda sworn I had 2 voice coils on that thing //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif oh well.

Well the company never responded to any of my emails and by the time I found out I could maybe get in contact with the old owner at audiopulse my warranty had run out. Maybe it could be fixed with glue but I feel that for a sub of this caliber you would need something intensely strong.

But yes, that is the only problem. From my understanding this was a manufacturers flaw as it was specifically listed in the reasons for which TC Sounds would provide a new top assembly. I've since moved onto an 18" Havoc for my home theater project and already use an SDX 15 in the car so I really have no interest in using it for anything. If someone on here can fix it easily, then my loss and your gain on a TC2k for 150.

Um, nice sub but tough luck with that tear. You can easily "fix" it but that tear is in the cone and not the surround separating from the cone. That tear will spread/run with play time on the sub. Sucks big time.

BTW, I had several TC subs with the same cone material and one of mine did the same thing.
