sadly i have to change my system. at the moment my trunk lid cannot handle the BTL. i have cracked my trunk lid so bad that the lid will not close properly anymore.

with this i am being forced to downsize my setup a bit. i have decided to head into the SQ route.

now, on to the sale.

i have a Fi Audio fully loaded BTL 15" Dual 1ohm coils with inter woven tinsel leads. not sure if it's inter woven but they are sandwiched into the spiders to prevent tinsel lead snapping. the sub was purchased brand new in march of this year. functions perfectly, pulled it out not even 4hrs ago.

cosmetics 9.5/10

function 9.5/10

Price - $375 + Shipping - FIRM

will be shipped in original crate!

well....because that's what you want and I was wanting to trade
you never mentioned you wanted to trade anything or what you wanted from me.

you just posted up pics of a speaker. that was it.

second, i was already aware of your XXX via PM days before i decided to sell my speakers.

and on a side note, i recall you stating not wanting to trade your speaker as you needed the money when i offered my btl and cash via PM?

Well I paid about 800 for it. But tell me what its worth to you. I am not going to be using it... its been sittin in storage. And I need the cash. Sorry on the BTL... nice sub though...

i don't have a multimeter. the speaker is completely fine. i could make a vid of it free air on a saz1500d or in my enclosure thats in the trunk of my car.

both speakers are mine, look in cardomain and you will see the speaker in some of my builds. link is connected to my sig picture.

I thought that the XXX need a bigger box then the average 15"?
You, and alot of people, thought wrong. The original XXX always had a reputation for 'needing big boxes' when the truth was they used pretty much the average size enclosure for a sub (4 cubes for 15" ported, 1 cube for 12" sealed, etc). Its the new ones that require especially large boxes, no matter what RE tries to tell you.
Oh yeah, and bump.

yeah, the enclosure that i have found that felt best to me was 4cu@33hz. the sub plays so low that a little higher tuning balances it out quite well.. though, that's just my opinion.

on a side note, would the 08 XXX 15 be good in 2cu sealed or want to be larger? i never really studied on the 08s.
