lmao n that why my brother is on his forth 360 n im still on my first ps2 and first ps3. but thats because sony makes poor quality products unlike microsofts which catch fire.

The PS2 was a piece of junk. The original systems had almost as many problems as the 360. And the original Xbox had less problems than either the PS2 or the PS3. My brother has had his 360 for 2+ years with 0 problems.

I have never had an issue with my 360....every one I have ever worked on went bad because the user placed it improperly where the fans fire into an enclosed space. mine has been sitting in the open for a long time now with no problems. I have made the recommendation to move the unit to multiple people who also have had no problems since.

IMO, the graphics are horrible on the ps2. I am more for visual and physics realism. the ps3 is much better, but I will not buy a sony product.

Really? God of War2, Gran Turismo, Resident Evil4, Final Fantasy X, Devil May Cry....

All of those *look* horrible? Compared to what? Because last I checked, those were all ground breaking in either artistic ability or overall technical bragging rights at their time.

I'd still have my original PS2 if I didn't accidentally drop it while moving. Disc drive and such weren't having that kind of shock. My original XBOX is solid as well. Oddly enough, it's been my Gamecube and Wii that have thrown in the towel. Gamecube decided it didn't need to read games anymore, and the Wii started tearing graphics. Luckily the Wii was under warranty still.

And as for the 360, they are problematic, but people certainly don't help their cause any. I see powerbricks sitting on carpets, 360's sitting near other huge heat sources like receivers and TV's, and being enclosed while doing so. My 360 has always been on a shelf in the open, and the power supply sitting on a wooden shelf with plenty of breathing room. No problems ever.

PS2 didn't look horrible, but the Xbox did look better. I don't get how people can argue the PS2 looked better or was more powerful than the Xbox, it just wasn't. That's why they could move games from the PS2 to the Xbox and make the graphics better and still have it run faster. I still say Xbox > PS2 and Xbox360 > PS3.
