My car has a 7 inch long crack in the glass from when I bought it....I've hit SPL levels in the 155's...I've ran street beat for 30secs with over 153 average....but that crack has never grown and the windshield has surely never busted...So I want to hear the stories...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Depends greatly on the car's acoustics, the atmosphere its in, etc.

I've noticed that the hotter it is, the more likely it is that a windshield can break.

My truck barely even flexes when I'm doing low 150's for streetbeat and 154's on burps.

my team mate Danny has busted several in his truck.

We have pretty much figured out how to keep it from busting them now. Changed the box a little, and put less glue on the windshields when you glue them in. BTW, he is the current SS1-2 world record holder. Top score of 167.6 with 2 woofers and stock interior on the dash.

I've been through 3 of them in the van. They don't just shatter out of nowhere. Usually the seal lets loose and the window slaps on the frame.

I believe, it is possible with lower decibels.. I think it depends on which way the subs are firing, cabin,tuning and many other factors.. My windshield moves about a 1/2" and i'd be lucky if i could get into 40's , lol..

im in the 155+ area and no windshield issues at all. In fact, id rather not have any...dont want the flex lowering my score any.

now ceilng rails...thats a different story.

I dont think I could ever blow my windshield out. I only hit about 145. That being said, as I drive a hatch back my rear window is huge and right over my sub, I dont think I can blow it out but I do believe I will eventually break it because the trunk aparently doesn't seal too tight and it vibrates incredibly hard at lower hz

I had 2 audiobahn aw1206t's that pounded loud as hell, and freaking blew the back window out of my civic. I had to be around 190db's atleast. Looks like some of you guys have had some loud cars, but if you keep up the good work and do some solid research, you will see audiobahn subs will blowz you all away...jk
