Nope, never ever ridden an atv/quad. Only dirtbike.

I usually go on http://www.advrider.com and drool at the good photography and places people have been...a lot of people there ride dual sports, so a lot of offroad/expedition type photos.

Wow that place is beautiful.

Most riding areas around here are gone as they put condo's on the land. Pretty much the reason I sold my bikes and quad. I often miss riding though

Yea I would like to try some higher level kayaking but around here there isn't a lot of choices. In my county there are 5 rivers and only one has any rapids whatsoever. Mainly like it to just get some exercise and see the outdoors. Sometimes we load up a small raft and camping supplies and go on overnight camping trips and setup on a sand bar on the river.
