Foam Baffel

I just got mine today. I plan on cutting them in half and making rain hats for my speakers. My doors leak like a sieve for some reason. It rained hard all day yesterday, and when I opened my door today, water poured out the bottom... I also have to figure out what to do with the crossovers, as they are just lying at the bottom now, the bottom where the water is //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

The foams will help, just cutout the bottom. As for the x/o,try dblesided tape or screw them to the outer sheet metal of the door panel itself

um. how about fix your door dude? your door is going to rust like a bucket if you leave that water in there like that, not too mention prolly add extra weight (like that matters) and a stupid sloshing noise. i would seriously look for a fix to this leaking door... i bet all you need is a new gasket for the window part...

go to the junk yard and take some off dead accident cars. replace. done. no more watery doors.

I need to install some Baffles so I can keep my rear speakers a little higher in my trunk so I can fit another inch of box in it. Where can I get some and what are the best types?

What you need is a regular MDF baffle, that you'll probably need to make yourself. The foam baffles are just for speaker protection; that's it. They are cup-type things that you install your speakers "in" so that the rear of them aren't open and exposed. And they aren't thick at all, so I doubt they'll do what you are trying to accomplish.

Apoc, i told you what to do !

As Squeak9798 already put down, you have to make them out of MDF.

Remember i told you //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Can't really move the x-overs unless I sacrifice window roll down. I *do* need to fix the leaky ass doors, however. I sealed up the spot that the wires enter, as I thought that was the problem area... Apparently it's not the only leak though. I'll have to look at the window gasket type thing, but it appears fine. I'll look closer.

It really ***** that I got the rain hats for my speakers 2 days ago, and it's been raining ever since!
