I agree with this. It's been my cure for the national deficit for a great long while now.

If you are convicted of exploitation of a child in any shape, form, or fashion (whether it be physical, mental, emotional, ******, I don't care), once convicted they should just take you out behind the courthouse and put a bullet through your head.

The average cost to house a prisoner for one year is approximately $18K give or take a few bux.

I think there is different degrees of punishment. If you are busted for statutory **** and the person is 1 year younger than you, then the punishment should not be the same as if you ***** children in the back of your van.

Both are put of the *** offender list. Both can't live within a certain distance of school zones. Both have criminal records which can severely impact future employment.

There are allways special cases, not everything is black & white. I kind of agree with you on the 18 yr old with a 17 year old thing but.... Only problem with your theory is where does it end?

Is it ok for an 18 yr old to be with a 15 or 16 yr old?

Ok for a 20 or 21 yr old to be with 17 yr old?

The laws are in place for a reason. Dont break them, its just not worth it. Can ruin your life if you get arrested. Nobody will want to employ someone on the *** offender list and nobody will trust you ever again regardless of how you try to explain it to them or justify it. Even later on in life, your buddy will have problems as these *** offender lists become more and more public because of technology. Nobody will want their kids around him. Thats just how public perception is. All those possible outcomes are not worth 6 seconds of fun

I work with *** offenders everyday for a Mental Health place. I felt the same way as many of you did, that they should get killed on first offense, but now that i've worked near them and learned more about it, I don't know what I would do. On one side, I hate everything that they are, i think they are scum for the crime they committed. However, on the other side of me I now realize that they don't really have as much control as you think. Most of these guys had ****ed up childhoods, with parents that put cigs out on them or molested them. The guys know that they need help and that they have a problem but it is still hard for them to hold back. I "assist" or watch these guys when they need to go to public places. We are forced to take alternate routes away from any place with kids.

After working for this mental health place, I can't decide on which side of the fence i'm on. Lock em up or kill them, or give them a chance of rehabilitation through a program such as the one I work in.

I think its ok for an 18 year old to be with a 16 year old.. Since when did ppl care about 2 years. Thats a senior in high school dating a sophmore in high school.. That happens all the time.
