flip out or in dash dvd?

i prefer indash. to me, it seems like flip outs seem to have more things to can go wrong.
If you have the room ? go double din. I have both. No probs yet. But is had shit load of problems from the old Kenwood flip faces(**** ribbon cables). Double din looks cleaner.

x2. If you dont have the rooms there is always custom work to be done. But will always look alot cleaner than a flip out which I think looks ugly, but that is me.

cool.. i should be able to fit a 6.5 with with a lil trimmin from a dremel.
It is good that you are with that custom attitude. Most people will be scared to do such a thing and get a simple indash kit that has no challenge. When something dont fit, and you make it fit, that my friend is called custom.

Flip outs are notorious for ribbon failure. The constent in and out is just like bending a piece of wire back and forth.I have an n1 that had ribbon failure. But I found a guy that uses Military grade ribbon to upgrade. As for indash that would be me first choice, but most of the time it has to be fabricated for most vehicles.
