i cant beleive thoes subs take that much power. thats gotta be like 5k+rms

currently i have it set with a dmm to 4800 watts, buts is prob not getting near that after voltage drop and imp rise. The subs didn't distort or smell funky or anything, so i might try creeping up the gain a lil bit

you running that amp at .5ohms on just 3 batts and no ho alt

Looks loud for sure. So that ab500.1 at .5ohm, how is it with your electrical? Can you get on it pretty hard without dropping too bad? Also do you have a HO alt?

lowest i've seen it go is 12.9 idling (you can see it in one of the vids i think). keep in mind that this is after the car has been it sitting for a few minutes blasting it (the vid it is on is the 2nd song i played)

Good to hear, I'll be running the same amp at .5 and close to the same electrical (one more batt in the back and a 200amp alt). I'm curious what your imp rise is though and if thats helping the voltage situation.

ya, ive seen your build, looks impressive so far. Voltage drop was one of the biggest things i was worried with the electrical i'm running, so i'm very happy with how loud it is vs. how much the voltage is dropping.

I would love to find someone w/a clamp sometime though to see imp rise/ actual power going to the subs.

I like them, but the bass drowns them out a bit, which i pretty much expected. I think its gonna be hard to find a single set of components to match well with the output of the subs.

Yea thats understandable. I'm going to be hooking up my system in a few weeks with two 18" BL's with a set of the RSD's thats why I was asking. I'm not sure what you mean.... I see the windows and the roof flexing. A step down from the 36 hz tone, but quite a bit nevertheless.
