The only trophies i ever caught were on lake of the woods ice fishing a few years back. I got a 20" Walleye, a couple 12" perch and a tulibee. My aunt and uncle have all the pics though. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

Nice looking fish //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I've caught huge fish in little ponds and small fish in huge lakes.

Size of the body of water plays a role, but the fact that public lakes (etc.) get fished hard and people have no morals when keeping over limits and undersized fish.

I fish for the sport and have thrown an Angler Award winning ~16" yellow perch back in the water //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

Sometimes I wish I hadnt thrown it back, but the river I fish doesnt have very many perch left in it, so I guess it was a good thing //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Carp on the other hand, I know for a fact that I could get myself an Angler Award (30" min/ 20lb. min) with not much work //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
