Okay, update. They say the crack cant be fixed, but it is an aluminum rim.. So why can it be welded? Is there like some downside to welding aluminum that I dont know about? the crack cant be more than 1.5" long, and less than a mm in width. Any thoughts? I have a buddy with a welder, think it would hurt to try?
