some pages don't load correctly, and there are some buttons missing

Shit, that sucks.

Before you got it, did they say there were buttons missing, or it just came like that?

Did they have insurance on it? See if they can file an insurance claim.

Did they have pics w/ screen name and date? Refs?

Firefox 3 RC has been working for me almost a full month, my add-ons all carried over so did my bookmarks, i havent crashed once since the upgrade. its also alot faster.

I don't like it. I don't like the drop-down menu in the address bar, I haven't changed any settings yet, so maybe it can be changed?

I've never had a problem with FF3, I've had all the betas...if you really wish to wait for your add-ons to work 100%, wait a week or 2.

Most of them have already been upgraded to the 5th beta...but it takes a few days to make sure they work 100% on the final release. I'm on the new one now...seems to work fine for me.
