That would be a perfect match but if you plan on upgrading, I still recommend the AQ2200D

Kicker is just too expensive for what you get. But how much is the AQ2200? I forgot

They are a little bit pricey... but they are great amps. You won't really go wrong with any of the options lol

You would need to adjust the gains to match the power rating of the sub, yes.

Get a dual 1 Q, wire it into 2 ohms..

Plenty of room to upgrade to another 18" if you want.
