Message: <blockquote data-quote="BigSimon" data-source="post: 1875209" data-attributes="member: 568780"><p>definately move the ground from there.  You have the magnet of the speaker to close to it.  the whinning noise 9 times out of 10 is from a ground not making solid contact.  Also, that is not metal you have attached to, most times that piece of the car is made from forges aluminium.  (worked in body shop).  See if you can find a bolt under the mat or find a good location clean it with sand paper and tap your own bolt.  And don't attach it to any bolt connected to lights either!  You might also want to find the permanent place for the amp (I suggest you find a way to bolt it to the back of the flip down seat) and only use enough wire you need, you kinda have to much slack on the wires.</p></blockquote><p></p>
