When you do title check or carfaxes none of the personal information is displayed it only tells you when and where the car was sold or re registered.</p><p></p><p>Finding the VIN was the hardest. I had never owned the car myself the original owner is dead and his mom threw everything away when he died.</p><p></p><p>Im sure what we did was borderline illegal to get this information with the new privacy acts passed 1994. The DMV only releases under certain guidelines and they are pretty strict.</p></blockquote><p></p>
