You should have used spray primer and paint.The brush strokes really show!It has a good sheen to it but it would look a ton better if it was smooth.

Good luck your off to a good start.But if you make the box look too good then your rack will look that much worse.

Not hard to fix.Just DA it down smooth and hit it with a couple coats of spray primer,sand that with 400grit,then you can spray it with the glossy black and it should come out looking right.Its all in the prep so don't skimp and you won't be disappointed.Keep us posted!

1. primer

2. sand

3. paint it black with a few layers

4. clear coat
