fiberglass shell

Hey guys,

i'm about to start working on a box for 2 brahma 10s thatwill fit under my backseat of a Z71 2000 model. I've been thinking and i'm gonna build a MDF ported box, and have been thinking of making a fiberglass shell to go over the plain MDF. Will this work? WHY? FIBERGLASS IS ONLY STRONG ON CURVES! TOO MANY FLAT SURFACES ISN'T SUITIBLE FOR FIBERGLASS. USE AS MUCH MDF AS POSSIBLE ON FLAT SIDES.

um. build your regular box, and then make a beauty panel outta glass?

yes. that would work.

Exactly. See I can make a good sturdy box out of mdf, and a "beauty panel" out of fiberglass.
