fiberglass and doors

I think I read somewhere that fiberglass doesn't stick well to vinyl, which is probably what your doors are surfaced with. However, you could try sanding first or just glueing it on in the end. That is what I plan on doing anyway...

epoxy resin wont stick to vynl at all. it wont stick to rubber, and it does not like to stick to ABS plastic.

if you can mount a piece of wood to your door, and rivet that on, and glass to that - you would be better off //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

what about mounted the finished fiberglass by epoxy to it? I was thinking about something similar for a dash shroud on my car since the dash just started cracking this year.(been expecting it since the car is a 94 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif)
